Try looking for internships in Research Triangle Area in NC. There are many good companies targeting to combine Health and IT, so might have good chance. 

Second, I highly appreciate your feedback on NorthEastern's Health Informatics program. Your insigths will help many like me who are thinking to pursue HI as career objective. Thanks

I think you should consult with your mentor They might help you. Try contacting the alumni as well.

I am also under the same circumstances and even in my country,I don't know whether there is any such company or not.
