Wondering if anyone has been to the previous AHIMA Conferences and if anyone is going this year. I'm strongly considering going but I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Sean Bennick replied to Chris Paton's discussion Does the end of Google health mean the end of the PHR concept and the rise of Patient Portals?

Sean Bennick replied to Chris Paton's discussion Does the end of Google health mean the end of the PHR concept and the rise of Patient Portals?
"If the system is built correctly I think anyone would be able to take a more active role - not just "smart" patients. There may be a heavier learning curve for some patients however."

Sean Bennick replied to Chris Paton's discussion Does the end of Google health mean the end of the PHR concept and the rise of Patient Portals?
"Personally I'd like to see a more open system where information from both patient and provider is available. The potential of systems like Patients Like Me to both bring people with similar conditions together and allow individuals to take a…"
