Thanks Theresa for the warm reply. What your old Mom and In-law need is to send their biodata so that I can include them on the list of Matunda Ya Wazee (MAWA) members. This allows them to join the other members in advocating for the rights of the elderly worldwide. This qualifies them to any other benefits that accrue from their advocacy.
By the way, I am developing a project to enable the elderly visit their friends accross borders and learn from one another's experiences/cultures as part of their recreation. This leads to ageing gracefully with dignity. Dont hestate to get more information by contacting me on email: matunda54@rocketmail.com
Best regards.
Cris
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I forgot my password and finally remembered it today. I will let my Mom and Father-in-law you are thinking of them, that is very kind of you. Your Mum is really something else, there is a place in Heaven reserved for her.
Please give me more details about including my Mom and Father-in-law on your list of older persons on your NGO.
Right on, Kituku! My Mom is 89 years old, and my father-in-law, 90. I really admire your role, and I am humbled by it. Good luck, and as we say in French, "bon courage" (wishing you lots of courage).
