It is better to keep important hard copies of discharge summary, Reffereral letter, consent form etc., coz even if emr backup fails the patient can be treated by seeing discharge summary

We have just began our EHR Management but there is this suggestion that there is the need to continue printing the records and preparing the hardcopies of every patients' record and filling them. Any suggestion as to how to handling this situation.

I hold a Higher National Diploma in Statistics. I pursued short courses in Data Management and Analysis, Biostatistics and currently doing my Masters in Organization Development.
Currently, I am the Health Information Officer for Ho Municipal Hospital. I have also been managing Human Resource Data at the Volta Regional Health Directorate.
