Hello,

I am Priyanka Kalpande pursuing MSc Clinical Research. I am currently working on thesis - Evaluation of the status of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and its acceptance among doctors. I have prepared questionnaire for the same.

I want responses from Doctors who are using EMR and not using EMR. Please fill up one of the survey which is applicable for you.

Link for EMR users : https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dHVSZXFMcTdfaFZVLT...

Link for EMR non users: https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en_GB&formkey=dFJmd...

I will be thankful to you if you refer some more doctors for survey. I am in short of time and hence expecting your response. I assure that data obtained will be kept confidential and will be used for educational purpose only.

Thank you very much.

Integrative Health Bio Informatics: It is now increasingly recognized that a balanced approach integrating data/knowledge/techniques from Health Sciences, High-throughput Biology, Clinical Sciences, and Lifestyle studies is essential to make informed choices about the most effective means for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. Informatics has been shown to play a key role in both the Health Sciences and the high-throughput biology. Design of analysis and interpretation of integrated genomic/clinical/lifestyle/epidemiology data are defining new directions for Public Health endeavors. We are currently in the process of developing this new direction of Integrative Sciences.

Dear Suryanath

Thank you for welcoming me. It is kind of you.

May be you can give me some guidance. I am trying to initiate a research group working on integration of Health Informatics with Bioinformatics. And I am looking at hiring appropriate personnel for the group - people who are into Health Informatics - able to work on Public health data and/or Biomedical Informatics..Do we have such a workforce in India?

Thanks
Alphonse
