We're looking for a new m-Health Postdoc at the University of Oxford:

Postdoctoral Research Assistant in m-health

Department of Engineering Science, Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Old Road Campus, Headington, Oxford

Grade 7: £29,541 - £36,298 p.a.

The mobile health (mHealth) research team in the Biomedical Signal Processing and e-health group at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering in Oxford is continuing to expand.

We are now seeking a Research Assistant to join the group to work on m-health for heart failure under the supervision of Professor Lionel Tarassenko CBE FREng. The post is available initially for 1 year and applicants must be able to start on or before 29 April 2013, with a possibility of renewal for a further 2 years. The main objective of the project, funded by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR), is to develop a personalised, yet scalable m-health platform, configurable for chronic illness…

Hi Chris,

The Health Informatics forum grew up well but it needs to undergo specialization process. I think promoting the formation of specialized groups for business or research objectives can help. This can enhance this small society by bringing real world research and professional projects to the forum. If you agree with me on this as the next maturation step , lets encourage members to do so.

These groups will need more features to collaborate. If NING provides that, this can happen here or they may link a proper portal to their workgroup here.
