Hello Dr.Sandeep,Naresh here.Iam currently pursuing my masters in health informatics in London.Iam a dentist passed out in 2002.
Worked for a few years in Hyderabad and then jumped into this novel field of health informatics.
As far as I understand, there are good opportunities in health informatics in India and abroad.
If you ask me to get a gud career in HI,u shud have some IT degrees.
I would suggest you to do a pg diploma in IT from any reputed institutions in India and then do a masters in health informatics from either in India or abroad.
A medical college in Cochin,India has an MSc in health informatics which is for 2 years. Its head is Prof Ajith Babu, a fantastic guy.
U can get in touch with him.
Gud Luck!
Naresh.

My company is a Health Management Corporate.
Our main strength is the AMHTS, a computerised Health Screening system to streamline service process,
Because the AIDS is not the main killer in developed country. to best prevent Chornic diesease for now rely most on early detection. My company forsee the bottleneck of screening service 20 years ago, so we developed a patented system
that offer 180 people to recieve the 100 check item and issue the report with interpretation whithin 4 hours. Every test result and interpretation is sent into database along with a 200 item lifestyle questionaire.

Since we have began this practice 20 years ago. we have allocate 1.1 million sample.
FYI . do you think it's something you want?

The system appears to be interesting. The lifestyle diseases are now on an upward trend in India. The population to be served is very large. The screening service which can cover a large number of people within a short period of time, will be of great interest.

Please revert with more details.
Cheers,
Shwetank
