DESCRIPTION:Telehealth has emerged as one of the fastest growing areas
  in modern medicine. The Centre for Online Health (University of Queen
 sland) has had a leading role in establishing and coordinating an inte
 rnationally recognised event for everybody interested in telemedicine,
  telehealth and e-Health. The SFT conference series provides a unique 
 forum which explores both successes and failures in telehealth.\n\nA s
 eries of workshops will be held for SFT-09 delegates in addition to th
 e platform and poster presentations\n\nThe Annual International Succes
 ses and Failures in Telehealth (SFT) Conference will be held in the Ed
 ucation Centre, Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, Brisbane, Aus
 tralia on 10-11 November 2009.\n\nThe SFT conference provides a unique
  forum which explores both successes and failures in telehealth. Its u
 niqueness as the only telehealth conference in the southern hemisphere
  attracts prominent national and international speakers and delegates.
 \n\nIt provides an excellent programme for others to learn from expert
 s in the field. The scientific programme will be informative and inter
 active and will be accompanied by a trade exhibition featuring the lat
 est products and technology available in telehealth and e-health. The 
 peer-reviewed conference proceedings are published annually as a speci
 al supplement to the Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare.\n\nOur aim 
 is to provide the opportunity for delegates to present the latest rese
 arch and discuss the pros and cons of telemedicine, telehealth and e-h
 ealth to foster the education in and promotion of better health care a
