For individuals not familiar with healthcare, this free online course addresses job expectations in healthcare settings.  It discusses how care is organized within a practice setting, privacy laws, and professional and ethical issues encountered in the workplace.

This course is intended for IT professionals with little or no experience of healthcare.

This course contains 36 online lectures and will take about 50 hours to complete.
